Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist Supervisor to lead our Clinical Microbiology - Diagnostic team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for supervising technical staff and work processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor technical staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of laboratory services.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of technical staff.
- Forty-eight (48) months of previous discipline-related experience.
- Medical Laboratory Technology diploma (MLT) from an accredited institution.
- Licenses: Saskatchewan Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists and Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science.
