Job Title: Daycare Worker

Creative Munchkins Childcare Inc. is seeking a dedicated and caring Daycare Worker to join our team. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young children.

Responsibilities:
  • Child Development: Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Supporting Colleagues: Assist in housekeeping and cooking duties, ensuring a clean and healthy environment for our children.
  • Childcare Duties: Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, maintaining their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain daycare equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Storytelling and Activities: Engage children in storytelling, singing, and other activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Encouraging Creativity: Foster children's creativity through art, music, and physical activity.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare healthy snacks and meals for our children.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's behavior and development, reporting any concerns to supervisors or parents.
  • Staff Meetings: Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
