Job Title: Childcare Worker

Brentwood Childcare Center is seeking a qualified Childcare Worker to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to assist early childhood educators in creating a safe and engaging environment for children. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
