Production Supervisor
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our team at QUALITY INSERTIONS LTD. in a permanent position. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our binding and finishing department.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise a team of 16-20 employees, including binding and finishing machine operators
* Prepare production and other reports to ensure efficient operations
* Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their duties
* Oversee the operation of the company, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
* Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet production deadlines
* Recommend personnel actions to ensure a high-performing team
* Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
* Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
Requirements:
* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
