About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Technician to join our team at SNS Health. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks, wide area networks, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Web Server Management: Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures.
  • Network Monitoring: Perform routine network start up and close down, maintain control records, and perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Web Development: Modify Web pages, applets, and scripts, and research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines.
  • Customer Support: Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
