Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess experience in accounting and team leadership. You will oversee a team of 5-10 accountants, each managing a portfolio of companies. The ability to manage multiple responsibilities, inspire your team, and prioritize effectively is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Directing and managing financial reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
- Reviewing reconciliations and month-end results across various companies.
- Overseeing tax obligations, including corporate returns and sales tax filings.
- Acting as the primary liaison with financial institutions.
- Enhancing processes and procedures for improved efficiency.
- Preparing financial reporting packages for stakeholders.
- Leading month-end meetings with senior leadership.
- Covering for team members during absences.
- Presenting financial conditions and cash flow reports to the executive team.
- Coordinating year-end audits and preparing audited financial statements.
- Mentoring and managing the performance of your team.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
- CPA designation is required.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior finance role, with 3-5 years of experience managing an accounting team.
- Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency.
- Excellent people management abilities, with a focus on motivating and coaching team members.
- Highly organized with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple complex projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English is required; bilingual French is a plus.
- High integrity, diligence, and accountability.

Compensation
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year, with additional bonus opportunities and benefits including dental care, extended health care, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
