Project Manager Energy and Emissions

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the implementation of low carbon resilient project initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, coordinating, and managing projects to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee energy audits and assessments to identify low carbon resilient opportunities
- Manage low carbon resilience projects to ensure successful implementation and post-project measurement and verification
- Work with assigned staff to review, analyze, and interpret low carbon emissions data
- Partner with Planning and Projects teams to develop project charters, plans, and deliverables
- Contribute to the implementation of effective processes to assess project risks, identify risk mitigation strategies, and monitor risk throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide direction to project team members, convey policies and priorities, coordinate work, and ensure issues are resolved or escalated to meet project deliverables and timelines
- Collaborate with Planning and Project teams to provide assessments of low carbon resilient strategies during the planning, business case, and procurement phase of major strategic projects
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, planning, sustainability, or a related field
- Five years' recent, related experience in a leadership role in project management within a large complex organization
