About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at 4361903 Nova Scotia Limited. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and balanced.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, and the successful candidate must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a timely manner.
