Job Summary

Aramark Canada is seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join the Dalhousie Food Services team at the LSC Food court. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving menu and made-to-order items to guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including made-to-order dishes, using grills, fryers, and ovens.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to Aramark's high standards for food safety and quality.
  • Assist with culinary auditing, temperature checking, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of culinary experience, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Valid WHMIS, Food Safe Advanced Certification, and First Aid Certification are considered assets.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently, supervised and unsupervised.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 35 pounds.
