About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Teasdale Building Company Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and storage areas.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling earth, and setting up scaffolding and other equipment.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery, and assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and debris.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures, and reporting any hazards or incidents to management.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other crew members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off.
