We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Teasdale Building Company Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and storage areas.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling earth, and setting up scaffolding and other equipment.
- Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and machinery, and assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and debris.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and procedures, and reporting any hazards or incidents to management.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other crew members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
- Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off.
