Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning the department to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet company standards
  • Adhering to cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, and temperature recording to maintain food safety
  • Taking orders for deli department merchandise, slicing and preparing meat, cheese, and other products
  • Providing assistance to front-end associates with price checks and preparing deli food orders
  • Keeping the deli area neat, clean, and organized to meet company standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
