About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Blue Arrow Recruitment Inc. as a Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Assist with payroll processing, including preparing cheques and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST and other relevant taxes.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

  • Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
