About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at SANIATA TAKEAWOA. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Household Management: Handle and report lost and found items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for our household members, including a criminal record check and reference verification.
  • Transportation and Travel: Willing to travel regularly, use of public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
