Job Title: Domestic Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Davinderjit Singh Nijjar. As a Domestic Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Chores: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, assist with immediate settlement needs, and support social and labour market integration.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
