Job Title: Environmental Health Specialist

Fraser Health is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Health Specialist, you will play a key role in providing expert advice and guidance on environmental health matters to staff and managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultation and guidance on environmental health policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Conduct audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with environmental health regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff and students on environmental health topics.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to advance environmental health initiatives and partnerships.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in environmental health.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health or a related field.
  • Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada) or equivalent.
  • Eligible for registration with the BC Branch of the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors.
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental health.
  • Valid Class V BC Driver's License and possession of a personal vehicle.
