Senior Medical Scientific Liaison, Dermatology Biologics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Scientific Liaison to join our team at Galderma Pharma S.A. as a key member of our Dermatology Biologics department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing scientific support to our field-based salesforce, developing and maintaining professional relationships with key opinion leaders, and delivering credible scientific and medical presentations to physicians and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide scientific support to the field-based salesforce, including non-promotional trainings, education, presentations, and other engagement.
  • Develop and maintain professional and trustful relationships with key opinion leaders and academic centers to ensure access to current medical and scientific information on areas of therapeutic interest.
  • Develop, maintain, and share internally and externally an in-depth knowledge of Dermatology/Skin disorders.
  • Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to physicians, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain contact with local, regional, and national key opinion leaders and experts through internally approved field engagement plans.
  • Contribute to identifying physicians, investigators, healthcare providers, and administrative stakeholders requiring support from medical scientific liaison to increase the diversity profiles of our KOLs/KTLs, HCPs.
  • Provide field-based support to assist Medical Information in dealing with enquiries.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of clinical research and publications in the Dermatology & Aesthetics fields.
  • Act as an internal scientific expert for Galderma integrated dermatology products and areas of interest, bringing the science to life for internal and external audiences.
  • Gather and generate actionable insights through attending congresses, engaging with external stakeholders, staying current in relevant scientific literature, tracking influencers on social media, preparing summaries, and presenting key perspectives to Galderma teams.
  • Support Galderma research by identifying investigators, undertaking scientific exchange, and providing feedback and insight to medical and clinical teams.
  • Respond to unsolicited requests for medical and scientific information.

Requirements:

  • Medical, Pharmacy, or higher degree qualification (e.g. MSc, PhD) in a relevant life sciences field.
  • Dermatology/Immunology-Biologics experience.
  • Proven several years related medical and/or research and development experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices industry.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at various levels, including to practicing clinical peers and seniors.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Meeting planning and facilitation skills and ability to interface effectively with a variety of technical platforms.
  • Bilingual.
