Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team in Quebec/Atlantic. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will serve as a scientific expert and liaison between Bayer and the medical community, disseminating and educating on scientific data and material.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain long-term scientific and strategic relationships with Thought Leaders and major medical associations and academic centers.
  • Facilitate Thought Leader involvement in international, national, and regional initiatives, including advisory boards, learning programs, and research.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the scientific needs of all stakeholders are addressed.
  • Act as primary point of contact for key Thought Leaders, fostering strong partnerships and playing a key role in shaping and synergizing to reach win-win outcomes.
  • Identify, profile, and segment Thought Leaders, developing implementable engagement plans and generating insights on current clinical practice, beliefs, and unmet medical needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific research on therapeutic areas and develop a strong understanding of Bayer's market strategies and the healthcare landscape.
  • Coordinate and organize scientific learning activities within the therapeutic area, working with Thought Leaders and other Bayer partners.
  • Organize and lead regional consultant meetings to gather insights and shape go-to-market strategies.
  • Support medical operations and site management for non-interventional and interventional trials.
  • Train internal cross-functional partners on disease state, Bayer products, and competitor products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, with an advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and transferable skills to cover different therapeutic areas.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build productive work relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organization skills with thorough attention to detail.
  • Experience learning and using digital technology to develop communications and conduct analysis of medical data.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a mindset of Dynamic Shared Ownership.
