Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Barburrito. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Staff Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal stock levels.
    • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates, ensuring financial efficiency.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing a clear picture of business performance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Certifications
    • Safe Food Handling certificate.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at Barburrito, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work under pressure to meet customer demands.
