CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Junior IT Security Analyst - Networks to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating security risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' data.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct security control evaluations, identify gaps, and recommend mitigation plans to ensure the security of our clients' data.
- Develop and implement data loss prevention strategies to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure architecture and infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise to automate processes within existing applications and develop new solutions to enhance security.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure our clients' data remains secure.
- 2+ years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in security engineering and system/network security.
- Excellent technical knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, and application security.
- Experience with risk management, data loss prevention, and security best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Post-secondary degree in a technical field, such as computer science or computer engineering.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, and Linux OS.
- Knowledge of major programming languages and source code management systems.
- Working knowledge of TOGAF or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
