Work Environment:
Peoples Group promotes a flexible and hybrid work model. In this role, you will engage in a mix of in-office and remote work. Typically, your schedule will align with standard business hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility regarding start and end times.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Account Manager or fintech consultant who excels in recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities to deliver value and cultivate robust client relationships. You are an organized self-starter with exceptional communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders. You effectively manage client expectations and possess strong problem-solving abilities. Your background in financial services or similarly regulated sectors equips you with a solid understanding of risk and compliance, enabling you to achieve results through exemplary customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years' experience in relationship management, preferably within the fintech or banking sectors
- Proven experience in managing multiple internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Project management expertise
- Proficient negotiation skills
- Strategic account management experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Dynamics, CRM, and other relevant software
Responsibilities:
- Oversee commercial client communications, including regular updates, guidance on internal policies, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal departments to advocate for clients' interests
- Engage with clients through phone, web conferencing, and in-person meetings
- Provide weekly reports to the executive team regarding account activities
- Present and interact with all levels of management and clients
- Manage client expectations professionally, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of issues
- Appropriately escalate critical issues for resolution
- Become the subject matter expert on assigned clients' businesses and activities
- Support clients' business objectives and offer strategic insights into their programs
- Manage and negotiate agreements, including pricing, for all assigned clients
- Identify opportunities within client portfolios and propose new products and services to enhance performance
Compensation:
Peoples Group offers a competitive annual salary along with a discretionary profit-sharing opportunity. The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
