Position Summary
The role of the Installer involves visiting various client locations to maintain and install plant displays, ensuring that each environment is vibrant and welcoming. The ideal candidate will be reliable, diligent, and capable of working autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Maintenance of Plant Displays
- Develop and implement schedules for installations and deliveries.
- Safely transport plants and materials to client sites, ensuring proper handling during transit.
- Install plant displays according to specifications and company standards.
- Continuously monitor orders and communicate with clients to confirm selections and project details.
- Select appropriate tools and equipment for each installation.
- Participate in safety meetings and relay information to team members.
- Conduct safety audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Protect surrounding areas during installation to prevent damage.
- Install scenting and air purification systems as required.
- Address client inquiries and maintain open communication during service visits.
- Complete service reports to document activities and tasks performed.
- Be available for occasional after-hours work for specific projects.
- Engage in outdoor work as necessary.
- Delivery of Replacement Materials
- Deliver replacement plants and materials to client locations as needed.
- Remove and dispose of old plant materials following company guidelines.
- Seasonal Decoration Installation
- Assist in the installation of holiday decorations both indoors and outdoors.
- Help with the removal of decorations at the end of the holiday season.
- Be prepared for after-hours work during peak seasonal periods.
Qualifications
- Experience in a trade or construction-related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems effectively.
- Prior experience in plant care is advantageous.
- Experience in client interaction is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Able to safely work from ladders and use power tools.
