About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Morinville Pizza Palace. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide comprehensive training to new staff members, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless communication between departments.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work.
