About the RoleAs the Head of Infosec AI/ML Cyber Data Science, you will lead and manage a team of talented data scientists dedicated to driving innovation in cybersecurity. You will develop and implement an AI/ML strategy aligned with business objectives, providing guidance on cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address emerging threats.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of AI/ML data scientists focused on cybersecurity advancements.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive AI/ML strategy that supports business objectives and strengthens our security posture.
- Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies and trends in AI/ML and cybersecurity, influencing the direction of our security initiatives.
- Oversee the development and deployment of advanced analytics models for threat detection, response, and mitigation.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and advancements in AI/ML and cybersecurity, ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation within the cybersecurity team, encouraging exploration and development of new ideas.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Extensive technical experience in machine learning and data science applied to cybersecurity challenges.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of driving results and making strategic decisions in complex environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, Bash, Java, or similar languages.
- Experience working with Cloud Service Providers, containers, virtualization technologies, big data platforms, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Industry certifications in cybersecurity are highly desirable.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within cybersecurity or AI/ML is preferred.
