About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Finance Credit Analyst to join our Real Assets & Infrastructure team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and monitoring a portfolio of project finance transactions across various sectors, including Energy (renewables, power, midstream and downstream), Infrastructure, and Metals & Mining.
Responsibilities:- Manage the credit risk associated with assigned project finance transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, including cash flow modeling, valuation, and sensitivity analysis, to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers and projects.
- Prepare comprehensive credit reviews, including recommendations for credit limits, covenants, and other risk mitigation measures.
- Monitor counterparty performance, identify potential risks, and implement appropriate actions to mitigate losses.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business line managers, legal counsel, and risk management teams, to ensure seamless execution of credit decisions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in project finance credit analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably within the project finance sector.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
