Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to provide comprehensive healthcare services to our patients. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at promoting health and wellness in the community.

Qualifications
  • Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a clinic setting, providing care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather medical histories from patients and their families.
  • Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose health issues.
  • Assist patients in adopting healthier lifestyles and overcoming detrimental habits.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to assess patient health.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans.
  • Administer vaccinations to prevent disease.
  • Provide health advice and education to patients.
  • Manage and coordinate primary care for patients.
  • Offer counseling and support on various health and lifestyle matters.
Certifications

Must possess College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP).
