We are seeking a Bilingual Rehabilitation Consultant - fully remote position.
This role involves evaluating the vocational, educational, and medical requirements of individuals with disabilities, while formulating and executing approved service delivery strategies tailored to the needs of the claimants and in compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Uphold our core values of Customer Perception, Integrity, Partnership, and Community; Conduct field visits to meet clients; Assess the rehabilitation needs and potential of individuals receiving disability benefits through direct interviews and comprehensive reviews; Provide necessary advice and referral services to address the identified needs of clients with disabilities; Collaborate with the policyholder (employer); Engage with internal and external stakeholders (claims managers, disability managers, medical coordinators, health professionals, etc.); Develop realistic and cost-effective rehabilitation strategies; Prepare detailed written reports outlining findings and recommendations; Manage administrative tasks related to rehabilitation activities, ensuring adherence to performance standards and completing special projects; Serve clients in both English and French.Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree in health sciences, psychosocial intervention, or a related field, along with relevant experience; Minimum of 4 years of pertinent experience in intervention; 5 years of experience in rehabilitation is considered an asset; Relevant experience in facilitation and coaching; Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; Self-motivated and able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities; Good analytical skills; Proficient in documenting relevant information on a computer while communicating with clients, employers, and health professionals; Experience in the insurance sector is advantageous; Bilingual proficiency, both written and spoken. A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are necessary due to potential travel requirements.Additional Requirements:
Candidates must be able to set up office equipment in a designated area of their home that ensures confidentiality of files. Additionally, they should be capable of resolving any technical issues with the support of our Technology Services Office. Regular travel to our downtown office for team meetings and training sessions is expected.
