Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a Physiotherapist to enhance our clinic's offerings. In this role, you will engage in clinical practice both independently and collaboratively within a team. Your responsibilities will encompass prevention, health promotion, assessment, intervention, and case management. You will actively participate in the planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services in partnership with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.

As a Physiotherapist, your duties will include:

  • Delivering physiotherapy services, including the assessment and management of physical limitations or disabilities, aimed at improving functional abilities and quality of life within a multidisciplinary team context
  • Developing and executing personalized, client-centered objectives based on thorough analysis and assessment findings, aligned with team goals
  • Identifying and addressing the educational needs of patients and their families requiring assistance
  • Assisting patients facing challenges with functional independence, mobility, and physical activity to enhance their quality of life

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent is mandatory
  • Current registration and good standing with the College of Physical Therapists of Ontario for practice in relevant clinical areas
  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Physiotherapists and the Physiotherapy Association of Ontario is advantageous
  • A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience is required

  • Proficiency in technology and familiarity with various EMR systems and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments
  • Strong understanding of physiotherapy principles and practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
  • Outstanding critical thinking, organizational, and decision-making abilities
  • High adaptability and flexibility
  • Registration in other provinces is a plus
