Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Sutherland Concrete Ltd is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to ensure a precise finish.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to complete the concrete structure.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to prevent damage and ensure longevity.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail is crucial to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a variety of weather conditions.
Personal Suitability:
  • Flexibility is essential in this role, as you will be required to adapt to changing work schedules and priorities.
