Job Title: Flooring Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at K-Town Carpets and Flooring Ltd. As a Flooring Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of flooring, including carpet, resilient flooring, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Prepare flooring plans and scheduling
  • Measure, cut, and install flooring materials
  • Inspect and repair damaged flooring
  • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing flooring and contaminants
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations
  • Perform double-bond carpet installations

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in flooring installation is an asset
