Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Target Drywall & Acoustics Ltd. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, filling joints and holes, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets, ensuring a precise fit
  • Filling joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, ensuring safety protocols are followed
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installer, you will work in a variety of settings, including commercial, residential, and various locations. You will be exposed to dusty and noisy environments, but will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
