As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing insights and recommendations that will improve operating performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles
* Ensures timely and accurate production of financial reports and variance analysis
* Designs, develops, and implements analytical models and tools to help evaluate, forecast, and optimize property and portfolio performance
* Reports on business metrics, including KPI dashboards
* Interfaces with senior management to understand their reporting and analysis needs
* Continuously seeks, identifies, and addresses opportunities to improve existing processes and models

Requirements:

* Bachelor of Commerce with a related Accounting discipline and Accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) is an asset
* A minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience in the accounting/finance field
* Solid knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, preferably in a real estate environment
* Experience presenting to senior executives
* Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook
* Intermediate/Advanced Excel
* Communication skills (listening, verbal, and written)
* Problem-solving skills
* Good judgment
* Interpersonal skills
* Initiative and creativity
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work independently
