In this pivotal role reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Senior Operations Executive will play a crucial part in shaping and enhancing operational frameworks within the organization. This position is integral to the Senior Leadership Team and focuses on aligning Community Living Mississauga's Vision, Mission, Philosophy, and Values with the agency's daily functions. The Senior Operations Executive will oversee essential areas such as Residential Supports, Day Supports, Social/Recreational Programs, Community Supports, and Information Technology, contributing to strategic planning and policy development.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Organizational Development:
- Providing strategic guidance and continuous support to each Director in their initiatives aimed at improving service delivery.
- Setting and evaluating departmental objectives while establishing clear expectations for accountability, timelines, measurable results, and achievements.
- Facilitating employee relations through effective policy interpretation, counseling, conflict resolution, and additional support mechanisms.
- Enhancing employee engagement by identifying growth opportunities, supporting succession planning, fostering skill development, and offering mentorship.
- Promoting initiatives focused on diversity, accessibility, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- A relevant post-secondary degree in Health Services, Business Administration, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 10 years of senior management experience in roles such as Director, Senior Director, or Vice President, with a comprehensive understanding of the Developmental Services sector or Not-For-Profit environment.
- Experience in both operational and strategic capacities within a performance-driven organization.
- Familiarity with the Personal Outcome Measures approach to service delivery.
- Experience in a unionized setting is considered advantageous.
