About the Role

Mace is seeking an experienced Deputy PMO Services Director to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a key member of our PMO Services team, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our aviation infrastructure program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deputize for the PMO Services Director and lead the integration of PMO services functions, including QAQC, logistics, safety, security, and permitting.
  • Provide direction and leadership to leads and managers within the PMO services function, ensuring effective team performance.
  • Participate in management and executive reporting and decision-making forums, advising on QAQC, logistics, safety, security, and permitting aspects.
  • Support the delivery team with subject matter expertise and advice on QAQC, logistics, safety, security, and permitting matters.
  • Assure the completeness and effectiveness of program QAQC, logistics, safety, security, and permitting management plans.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programs in the aviation sector.
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
  • Experience working in the aviation infrastructure sector.
  • Experience in a director level position.
  • Previous experience working with the GTAA (Greater Toronto Airports Authority) or equivalent.
  • Industry qualification or chartership e.g. PgMP, PMI, CMI, DBIA.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or applicable field.
