Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at CEFA Early Learning Victoria - Westshore. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that promote learning and exploration, such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through various mediums, including art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Guide children in developing healthy habits, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Monitor children's progress and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to child care.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including planning and implementing safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
