Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Jaguar Hauling Ltd. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our trucks, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of our vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed, ensuring that our trucks are always in good working condition.
  • Inspections and Record Keeping: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all communication is clear and concise.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and a minimum of 2 years of experience in long haul trucking.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off.
