About the Role

Humber River Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect throughout our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EDI strategies and initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our organization.
  • Provide leadership and support to our EDI Advisory Committee, ensuring that their recommendations are implemented and effective.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and deliver training programs that promote cultural competency and awareness.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to advance our EDI goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on EDI metrics and trends, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on EDI issues, providing guidance and support to staff and leadership.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social justice, education, or public administration.
  • At least five years of experience in leading EDI initiatives, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of EDI principles and practices, with a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
