About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician to join our team at Kia of Brockville. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality repairs and maintenance for our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Plan and execute repair work, including replacing front end components, body components, and underbody components
  • Clean and maintain workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Repair or replace interior components, including windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Mix and apply paint to match colors and achieve a seamless finish
  • Operate soldering equipment and use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Requirements
  • Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Trade Certification
  • 2 years of experience in the automotive body repair industry
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
