About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at 2320486 Ontario Inc. O/A Country style & Mr. Sub. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods for take-out and delivery.
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
    • Keep records of food quantities used and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and handle and store cleaning products safely.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
    • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a fast-paced environment that requires a high level of energy and attention to detail. You will be required to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot kitchen environment.

Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset.
  • Language
    • English is the primary language spoken in this role.
