About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Loans Advisor to join our team at Cold Iron Truck Center Inc. as a key member of our financial services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Approve or reject loan applications, or recommend applications for approval or rejection
  • Assist clients by proposing solutions to address financial objectives such as business expansion, debt management, investment, and other financial goals
  • Complete credit and loan documentation
  • Forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action
  • Interview loan applicants
  • Open new personal and non-personal accounts, and provide access to automated banking machine, telephone banking, and online banking services
  • Prepare statements on delinquent accounts
  • Promote the sale of credit and loan services
  • Research and evaluate loan applicants' financial status, references, credit, and ability to repay loans
  • Review and update credit and loan files
  • Submit credit and loan applications to management
Work Environment

The Loans Advisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a large caseload, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

Requirements
  • Criminal record check
  • Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years, or equivalent experience
  • Health care plan
  • Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week
  • Work Language: English
  • Work Term: Permanent
