Job Title: Shipper-Receiver

Mama's Grocery is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipper-Receiver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipping and Receiving: Determine the most efficient method of shipment, schedule distribution of goods, and prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
  • Inventory Management: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, maintain internal record-keeping systems, and record shortages and reject damaged goods.
  • Warehouse Operations: Route goods to appropriate storage areas, pack goods to be shipped, unpack goods received, and oversee loading and unloading of goods.
  • Supervision: Supervise material handlers and helpers, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control software, spreadsheets, and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
