Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Technical Expert to join our team at Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd.

Responsibilities
  • Drive innovation in software development by exploring and implementing cutting-edge IDE technologies, enhancing developer experience and productivity.
  • Collaborate with programming languages and compiler technologies to create a seamless solution for developers, combining language and compiler capabilities with IDE innovation.
  • Design and develop commercial IDE products, leveraging expertise in IDE kernel and plug-in fields, and contributing to the development of an industry developer ecosystem.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IDE kernel and plug-in fields, with a deep understanding of software engineering, program analysis, testing, and debugging.
  • Proven track record of designing and developing IDE plug-ins, with proficiency in IDE technologies such as code editor, syntax highlighting, debugger, code search, and visual programming.
  • Familiarity with mainstream IDE products and a strong understanding of software development principles.
