Chief Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Architect to join our team at Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd. This is a permanent position that requires a strong technical background and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively analyze technical trends and developments to formulate strategic technical plans for the next 2-5 years.
  • Design and architect innovative computing infrastructure and domain-specific chips tailored for data-intensive applications.
  • Influence stakeholders by providing guidance on technical planning and investigation direction for Huawei's big data solutions.
  • Assume the role of a technical leader within our global team and lead the technical team in accomplishing end-to-end delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with a proven track record in delivering software-hardware codesign architecture design.
  • Hands-on experience in both software and hardware development, with expertise in at least one coding language such as Java, C/C++, and a hardware language like VHDL/Verilog or similar low-level languages.
  • Exceptional ability to work effectively both individually and within a multi-zone and multi-site team.
