Position: Truck Trailer Mechanic
  • Qualifications:
  • Completion of secondary school diplomaProfessional Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years in a similar roleKey Responsibilities:
  • Engage in discussions with the supervisor regarding tasks
  • Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical systems to identify issues
  • Evaluate engine performance during operation
  • Examine work orders for accuracy
  • Assess automotive systems and components
  • Modify, repair, or replace parts of truck-trailer systems
  • Fix or substitute mechanical units or components as necessary
  • Test and calibrate repaired systems to meet manufacturer standards
  • Estimate costs for parts and labor related to vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Carry out routine maintenance services
  • Calibrate units to meet specifications
  • Document issues and work completed in reportsSpecialization Areas:
  • Engine repair
