We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Partap Forest Products Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions and order parts as needed, maintaining an accurate inventory of spare parts.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work meets manufacturers' specifications.
- Keep detailed maintenance records and documentation, including test results and repair history.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work as required to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks and service attachments and working tools.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance.
- Permanent employment with a regular 32-hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
