About the RoleThe Reserve Engineer (RE) is a critical member of our rapid-response field-operations team, responsible for providing top-notch customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our robots. This role requires a strong understanding of computer hardware and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teammates.
Key Responsibilities- Learn and master our robot hardware to provide expert-level service and maintenance.
- Communicate with teammates and clients to resolve hardware failures and complete field projects.
- Ensure timely and safe resolution of hardware failures on our robots.
- Assist with field operation projects and new robot deployments as needed.
- Be dispatched to client sites to resolve hardware failures and complete tasks.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware and small electrical components.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Presentable and comfortable speaking to clients from Fortune 100 & 500 companies.
- Experience with robotics and computer hardware.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Associate degree or higher in a relevant field.
