Critical Care Nurse

The Critical Care Nurse provides high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
•Deliver evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing advanced assessment and critical thinking skills to inform decision-making.
•Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
•Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes, staying current with best practices and research in critical care nursing.
•Maintain and advance clinical competence through ongoing education and professional development, ensuring expertise in critical care nursing practices and technologies.
•Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering open communication and teamwork among healthcare professionals.
About this Location/Unit:
The Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) Critical Care Department offers a dynamic and challenging work environment, providing a range of patient care experiences that will enhance your critical care nursing practice.
