Transportation Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Design Engineer to join our team in Ontario. As a key member of our Transportation Planning team, you will work on various projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site plan reviews to ensure compliance with municipal design standards.
  • Prepare sightline analysis for intersections and driveways using Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) methodology.
  • Develop signage and pavement marking plans following OTM Book 5 and OTM Book 11.
  • Prepare construction and traffic management plans following OTM Book 6 and OTM Book 7.
  • Contribute to transportation studies for provincial and municipal roads, transit planning studies, and conceptual site development plans.
Requirements:
  • Registered Engineer-in-Training (EIT) working towards professional engineering licensure (P.Eng) or CET in Ontario.
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree or a relevant engineering college program leading to a CET, with a minimum 4 years of experience in transportation design.
  • Strong communication skills, including writing and presentations.
  • Knowledge of Transportation Engineering principles and Jurisdictional Design Guidelines.
