Security and Governance Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Security and Governance to join our team at BCAA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership in information security and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and standards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
- Lead and guide a team of security professionals to ensure the effective implementation of security controls and measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud security, and develop strategies to leverage these advancements to improve our security posture.
- Develop and maintain a risk management program to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the security team, and ensure that security best practices are followed throughout the organization.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and business partners to ensure that security requirements are met.
- Stay current with industry standards and best practices, and ensure that our security program is aligned with these standards.
Requirements:
- CISSP or equivalent certification.
- 5+ years of experience in senior security roles, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Experience in AWS cloud environments and cloud security.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
