As an Infrastructure Systems Administrator at IPG Photonics, you will be instrumental in safeguarding and managing our extensive global IT framework. We seek a proactive individual with a solid background in IT support, system maintenance, and problem resolution. If you possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional analytical abilities, and a strong focus on customer service, you will thrive in our vibrant IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation
  • Ensure adherence to established policies and protocols
  • Identify and address performance challenges proactively
  • Deliver IT support for both local and remote operations, including after-hours assistance
  • Oversee system updates and vulnerability management initiatives
  • Resolve IT support tickets efficiently
  • Configure and deploy infrastructure systems
  • Manage maintenance of end-user workstations
  • Engage in incident response calls as required
  • Administer a variety of IT services, including Active Directory and Citrix
  • Monitor system performance and analyze for potential issues
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years in infrastructure support roles
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Veeam, and related technologies
  • Familiarity with SSL Certificates and monitoring solutions
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Self-driven with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in collaborative settings
  • Proficiency in migrating to Office 365
  • Familiarity with SSO and PowerShell scripting
  • Understanding of networking and merger/acquisition processes
Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, and Cloud technologies are advantageous
