About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Namaste Janitorial Service Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and dust-free environment.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets, and stock linen closets to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Sanitation and Disinfection: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
Requirements
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Training: Willingness to learn and receive training to perform job duties.
